Would you like a Cigar?

Tonight was so perfect (46 degrees) I just had to sit outside with a nice fire.

Mort, Great suggestion. I'm just south of you and my answer was a little different. :)

Love, and have a fire pit too. Do that about once every couple of weeks with my son, and some of his friends. Nothing like an open fire. Totally agree!

Uncle Mort, what a fantastic idea. I'll brief the CINC, and I'm sure she'll approve; she doesn't want to totally enclosed it. Thank you!!!

@rnovi, I noticed where you live. My wife's name is Esmirna, pronounced the same. :)

A late Christmas gift :). Smoking one of the Camacho. :)

Ooooh! Love that Camacho Corojo. Just ordered another box.

These are new ones, they are Nicaraguans :)

A short report on this Camacho. Like any Camacho, a delicious cigar. Slow burning, with hints of cocoa, coffee, very mellow from beginning to end. I enjoyed every bit of it. If you like Camacho cigars, you will definitely like this cigar.

Back at the range yesterday: AVO was good but it burned poorly. Was going to light another but then my lighter ran out of juice...

I think your cigar doesn't likes all that snow. LOL!!!!! Those AVO Classics are some fine cigars.

Your probably right about that! :) Was one of the worst burning AVO's I can remember...just very irregular. It was a bit windy so I don't think that helped any but shouldn't have been the sole cause. Might be my humidor??

You'd be surprise how quickly a cigar will be affected by cold dry air, and wind. Your cigar goes from a controlled environment, to a cold dry one. Not a good combination. LOL!!!! I've had them crack on me after a while. This was in SD, and it was cold.

That's a good point that I never really thought about much. The wrapper did seem a bit dry when I lit it and that was only about a ~couple hours out of the humidor. I have quite a few of those so I'll keep at it!

The one I'm dying to smoke, and I'll probably smoke this weekend, is the black label Padron, third from the right. It's a new blend, and I've heard some great things about this cigar. You guys know what a Padron snub I am. :) LOL!!!!!

Thanks for the review. Love those nuggets of wisdom when trying tell how a cigar taste. I am the guy that usually says “er, smoky. Good.”

We have a joke around the office as one of the countrified guys that works on the counter always tells me when I am smoking “that must be a good one. They say the good ones stink.” I just say Yup!

Since it’s such a sad and sh*tty day in the history of our great nation, I figure I smoke something nice. Smoking an Opis X 20th year.

Good for you! (y) How is that? Worth the price of admission?

I’ve had terrible experience with Opus X cigars, until this one. It was a bit spicy at first and then mellowed out beautifully. A medium body flavor, w flavors of pepper, & leather. I’m impressed with this cigar. Look at this ash, when it finally fell, it was almost half of the cigar.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
