GA Hunter, I almost want to laugh.
I've done the same thing to my Swarovski 10x42 EL, but in Pennsylvania.
As you can expect, Swarvoski will make it all better. They're fantastic.

LOL. I was so confident of this that I was never concerned. I have heard so many great things about them that I knew it had to be true and they proved it today.

Happy for you. I've taken my Swarovski' to Africa three times, Alaska twice, and a bunch of times to Wyoming, Texas, New Mexico, etc. So, this genius goes into a treestand in Pennsylvania and drops them.
Well, Swarvoski sent me a new pair without a hiccup.

Our Kowas experience is that Swarofski has no problem in fixing and servicing their products and resend to us on both occasions. Lifetime guaranteed and they stick to it, no matter where you are.
Keep us posted...
 
From what I’ve heard about their customer service I believe they will take care of it. If they don’t then I’ve got two really nice monoculars. [emoji16][emoji16]
they have fixed mine twice already. I am rough on equipment.:unsure:
 
Some bargain basement binocular manufacturers will provide similar service. I once had a pair of Bushnell custom compact 7x26 binoculars in my hand while looking at a ship from atop a seaside cliff on Prince Edward Island. I had a wasp fly into my ear, and while vigorously defending my person, swatted the binocular in a long slow arc onto the rocks below, a fall of about 15 Meters or so. I quickly decided they were gone and done with, no return. A short while later some teenagers with a cooler full of beer and adventurous and athletic spirits showed up and proceeded to climb down the cliff to the rocky beach below. I yelled down to have them look for my binoculars. One young man soon climbed up with them in hand. They were battered and bruised, and out of alignment, but still OK individually. I sent hem back to Bushnell, and they completely refurbished them at no cost to me. A few years later I had the same pair fall off a table onto a concrete floor and shattered one of the lenses. I didn't have the heart to ask them to repair my clumsy damage again so that was the end. Nice to know Swarovski will also go above and beyond what is reasonable for warranty work. I love my Swaro's and use them a lot. I'd miss them if they were broken.
 
Love to hear good customer service stories. My happy story isn't about optics, but a ground blind. I had a pop-up hunting blind made by Ameristep which had the door zipper break on me. I emailed them to see if they could repair it and they told me to ship it to them. The next day I received an email from them saying that they noticed that I was from Canada and not to bother shipping it to them. They would just ship me a new one. Three days later it was on my doorstep with no charge! I try to tell anybody buying a blind of that customer service and recommend them.
 
I thought I would update everyone on this. My binoculars arrived Friday as good as new. After Swarovski inspected them they informed me the main housing was broken and the damage was not due to a factory defect. Of course I knew this and had informed them as such. [emoji849] Because of this there was a $350 charge to get them repaired. The entire experience was as painless as possible and the people I dealt with were all incredibly pleasant.

Lesson learned and yes I have since rigged a way to hang them in that stand INSIDE the railing and camo netting. [emoji16]
