Currently sitting in airport loung at OR Tambo, but I thought I could start a thread on the hunt we just wrapped up in Zambia. I booked with Steven Rufus of Shamwari Safaris, and we hunted the Kasonoso area on the Noryhern border of Kafue National Park. It was a very successful hunt. We took 7 animals: Sitatunga, buffalo, Reedbuck, Red Lechwe, Puku, Oribi, and Angolan Bush Duiker. There was significant lion activity in very close proximity to where we hunted the Sitatunga. I will write more details later as I get some time. In the meantime, here's some pics.
