First cigar in a while, wife picked it up as a surprise for me.

Also, forgot to tell the back story to the cigar shop visit. Christmas day, my youngest son puts a cigar in my lap and says “this is from Ellie”, Ellie being his girlfriend. I said awesome, thinking how thoughtful. Ended up being an excellent cigar, one I will buy again. It was a lovely Double Aged Perdomo Vintage 12 Year. Smoke was fabulous. So I told Ellie Monday night when she was over how much I was enjoying my cigar. A short while later, my son comes out on the porch and tells me Ellie had given HIM the cigar, he was just showing me the cigar on Christmas. Oops! Hence, took the crew to the cigar shop, and it only cost me $150 for a $10 cigar I smoked that wasn’t mine to smoke!

I could use some of that weather. We had rain and cold move in, with snow in the higher country. Put a damper on some of my vacation travel plans.
But....the humidor is full, and its kinda nice just relaxing for a change. Reenergize for the new year.

Im with you on that. Im going to thin the herd in my humidor tonight. Got some good steaks as well. The weather has turned shitty, with big winds, rain, and cold.
Gonna hunker down and have a good time at home.
