Would you like a Cigar?

Being a rookie cigar enthusiast, I have become fond of Acid's Kuba Kuba cigars. Haven't found another cigar that has a similar flavor profile but I'm always on the hunt for something new.

La Perla Habana- Black Pearl Morado

A 93 rated Boutique Cigar, with a medium body. Cameroon wrapper, with Nicauragua fillers.

Pretty good!

Drew Estate, is the king of infused Cigars, with the Acid lineup. Hardly any Cigar makers out there that make flavored Cigars, like Drew Estate.

The Kuba Kuba, is not cheap either. About $200 per box.

I'm just a little bit ahead of you. I've found I enjoyed the dark Java and dark Tabak the most.

I just picked up some Durango cigars out of St Louis MO (still too moist to smoke). They have real pipe tobacco blended in and aside from a few very cheap machine made cigars, it is the only of its kind in production today.

Might be worth looking at

Try the Blondie. That and Kuba Kuba are my go-to cigars if looking for a flavored cigar for a change.

Little milder than Kuba Kuba, but I find the experience not as overwhelming after smoking. I prefer the smaller version of the Blondie, but the larger is a longer more thorough immersion in the flavored experience.

I like Kuba Kuba once in a while, I guess smoking full body cigars has changed my taste towards mild cigars.

My Father Flor de las Antillas maduro

This is a very highly rated cigar with flavor profiles right up my ally. A few months ago I picked up a single from cigar.com and the wrapper was all cracked and flaking away in multiple places - I should have called them but I didn't.

Fast-forward to today. The wrapper was still cracked so I put some lip balm on it to seal and hoped for the best. As soon as I punched it, the entire cap came off. It was a very dry cigar when it arrives and I could not improve it in the humidor.

So at this point, this is going to be a very short smoke just to see if I like it.

This was very difficult to light, though breezy in the garage. Very complex flavors - unsweetened cocoa seemed to be the main flavor with coffee, pepper, and smoked meat competing for secondary flavors. I only smoked less than 10 minutes though as there was already swelling from the poor condition of the cigar (not to mention it was 25 degrees and snowing). The flavors might have been different had the cigar been in good shape.

I would like to buy this cigar again and hopefully I will get a good one

You need to call it in, and get a replacement sent to you. It is a good cigar, a bit complex, bur real good overall. I am a huge fan of My Father’s cigars, and always have them in my humidor

I decided to email cigar.com. We will see what they do about an order placed in April. Thanks

Sorry you got a bummer. Like opening a Christmas present and its socks. A month later you wear them but you still think this sucked as a present. Hopefully the vendor will make good. Not like he is out a whole box, so for one cigar, they keep a customer. Best of luck.

Camacho Escorpion, another great Camacho cigar.

Brought home two each of My Father Le Bijou, Ashton VSG, and Avo Synchro. Smoked one of each last night. While all are great cigars, I found myself heading back to the My Father this morning. Just a fabulous all around smoke. Very pleasing.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
