Any outfitter do small game hunts in Africa? Sure it might be a waste of time for some outfitters. Would like to find a company that does not mind someone hunting for other animals like monkeys, baboons, porcupines, badgers, jackals. Things like that. Have always had a interest to go after them.
@Limpopo Big Game Safaris I hunted successfully for all those mentioned plus many more with Bossie. He is the go to man for what you are asking. He has the equipment, areas, and expertise for night hunts. Last hunt I shot 20 critters, including a badger, small spotted Genet, I think 3 porcupines (4 or 5 the previous trip), 4 jackals and one African Chupacabra
, serval!, 2 steenbok, bat eared fox, aardwolf. Saw other I did not get a shot at, including a white tailed mongoose. And thet are all back in the States at the tannery! Other people I know have taken some of these critters and not gotten them home because they either did not have permits or something was messed up with paperwork or care of the trophies. Bossie gets permits, and charges you for them and does it right. His skinner knows how to take care of these little critters and works hard at it.
Previous hunt also included several vervet monkeys, 2 baboons, klipspringer, large spotted Genet. Missed a civit and African wild cat, got to within feet of a couple aardwolf but didn't have a permit that time, saw many bat eared fox but no permits, just because I didn't request them.
He works openly with
@KMG Hunting Safaris in the East Cape if you want something indigenous to that area.
He will hunt hard and gets as excited about these little critters as if they were buffalo and lions. Absolutely the go to man for this. And I am not paid to say this.
He is building a new tent camp as we speak and has available luxury camps with AC if you want that. I plan to go back to try again for Sharps Greysbok, red duiker, civit, several mongoose species, possibly a tsessebe, bush pig for sure, and whatever else I'm forgetting
