Just a quick note to say Thank You to you All on AH. This has been a wonderful year chatting with all of you.

To those I may have accidentally offended by goring a favorite ox, I apologize. It was without malice...

To those I may have bored by restating what is often obvious to old hands, I apologize. It is in the nature of the blogging beast to have a fair amount of repetition as we keep answering what are essentially the same questions as new members come on board, and everyone deserves a best-quality answer...

To those who may have liked some of my posts and maybe even found value in them, thank you...

To the many who have taught me things I did not know, and who have led me to question my assumptions and revisit my premises, thank you...

Finally, to All, who have helped me retain a modicum of sanity, waiting for the next big plane to fly South to Africa, thank you. Your posts, your pics, your agreements, your disagreements, your questions, your answers, have made precious the couple hours I have spent virtually daily in the digital AH bush and by the AH electronic campfire.

May the seas be calm, the breeze be light, and the winds be favorable to you in 2020.

Happy New Year
Pascal

Happy New Year sir!

Happy New Year Pascal as well as everyone on AH! :D Drunk:

Dear Pascal

To you, and all other wonderful forum members, Happy New year!

When working in far away land, and not being at home, just because of people like you here, that I meet every day, with morning coffee, or during my afternoon breaks, when logging in, I feel just like at home!

Happy new year, 2020!

A hearty second to all and to all a very Happy New Year. May it be the best ever.

Happy New Year to all. Thanks to all for the advice, comments and well wishes that have helped me on my recents trips.
This is the best forum and people on the internet.
I hope to meet many of you in Dallas.

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy new year to all!

2019 was a good year for me! Starting with a fun hunt in Texas with my granddaughter and Gizmo. I took her to Florida to visit her other grandpa where we did a ropes course, kayaked and paddle boarded. I got to meet my new “son” Toby 458 when we hunted lion together in the Kalahari. I took my grand-babe on her first elk hunt, though unsuccessful (the elk hadn’t gotten driven down to our lower elevation) I think she enjoyed our daily walks in the woods. We took one of her friends on a few days camping trip to the Colorado National Monument which neither had seen before.
Sadly, grandma had to stay home and take care of our ill daughter. Maybe next year she will have a breakthrough and we can all go play together!
So, though it was a grand year, I’m greedy and want 2020 to be even better!

And I wish for all of you, that even if you had a great 2019, let’s make 2020 even better! Best to all!

Happy New Year to all my AH friends!

I hope your daughter gets better and your whole family can enjoy all the camping, hunting, birthdays, etc, etc in 2020.

Aahh...did you post your grand babe's first elk hunt report here?(y)

Happy new year to all,
I'm truly thankful for where I've been and look forward to what another year brings.
I'm not sure if I should be thankful to everyone here for helping me slowly open the door to africa hunting.
The drain on my limited income is getting worse instead of better as I had intended. Lol

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone!

Dear Pascal, Thank you for your many knowledgeable and well written posts. I am amazed at the quality of your input and that of many others here at AH. So in the spirit of thankfulness I will list a few of the things I am thankful for in hunting and life from the past year and going forward into 2020:

1. My wife who encourages me to hunt! Thank you Kathy!
2. My family
3. My upcoming trip to Namibia with my brother in law and two other friends with Tiene and Michael Duvenhage of Uitspan Hunting.
4. My Courteney boots provided by RidgeWalker!
5. My new Friends from Bangladesh—Sgt. Kawshik Rahman and Major Poton Kahn. They should receive the “Most Valuable Contributor” awards for the quality and quantity of writings! I also appreciate the gracious way they have treated all our members this year. Simply incredible contributions!
6. The fact that a business trip to Dallas overlaps with the DSC show so that I can attend the get together next week!
7. The gracious love of Jesus (Issa) in my life.
8. And so many more I cannot list them....

Happy New Year to all!

Back at ya Pascal. Here's wishing for all AH member and lurkers, a happy, healthy and prosperous 2020.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
