Barely off the plane from my first safari with @HENRY GRIFFITHS SAFARIS.
South Africa and Henry delivered far more than expected. This was supposed to be a one and done trip but there is no doubt we will be back in a few years.
My son and I spent 5 full hunting days in the Limpopo province hunting with Henry and Johan Van Wyk.
This was originally a 2x1 hunt but turned into 1x1 with my son hunting with Johan and myself with Henry.
Both excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly guides with no pressure ever.
I'm not great at writing all details and daily reports so will mostly just add photos after this.
Lots of game seen and hunted daily. Although this was a budget hunt and kudu was not on the list I had opportunity at over 50" bulls nearly every day.
I personally took,
2 warthog
1 blue wildebeest
1 zebra
1 impala
1 female cull hartabeest
1 last minute guinea fowl.
My son took,
1 blue wildebeest
1 impala
1 zebra
1 great hartabeest
He wanted a warthog badly but it just didn't come together.
I'd like to mention that even though this hunt was booked 3 years ago and postponed due to covid Henry honored the original price even though I told him I understood if he couldn't.
Great people and a really great time.

Congratulations. Great safari thanks for sharing!

Great stuff.

How wonderful to hunt with your son!! My dad and I took 3 trips to Africa to hunt together, what great memories I have of my dad. You both have memories you'll cherish forever!!

African safaris are like smarties, you can't just have one. Henry always offers a very good deal.

It was great to have hunted with you guys! Blessings!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
