Well we just finished a great dinner and a bottle of Blanton's bourbon that we bought in the Atlanta duty free store. All was great! The food and the bourbon!

I imagine everyone for miles around ate well last night, as well as many more nights for awhile. Got me to wondering about all the ways to cook and serve elephant, besides the obvious (grilled and chicken fried ). Then I remembered the scene from "Forrest Gump" where Bubba lists all the ways to prepare shrimp and thought if you could replace shrimp with elephant:

Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it
