We were after a broomed off bull with white face. But my wife couldn’t get a shot at him and this guy gave me a shot on the last day

First one is always special! That one has blood on his boss. Lung shot?
Yep, slight quartering to me, slipped it in between the neck/shoulder. Ran about 50 yards........caught the top of the heart and both lungs. It was a wreck in there during postmortem inspection.

Great photos. That last one, I had that angle last year at last light....slightly more head on than quartering...took the shot at the base of the neck and he was dead in 20 yards. I tell others to be ready for the frontal shot...that might be all you get! The nice thing is you will not have to worry about an exit on most of them.

I know of a breeding bull like the first photo I posted, that sold at auction for 4 million rand. That's over $200k USD.

I would like to have this as a picture on the wall.
That's a professional photo...probably available? Let us know if you get it. I think it's fantastic.

This photo is significant because it shows you what the conditions are like in the winter (right now). On the one hand the leaves are down and visibility is better...but the leaves are down! It's like walking on rice crispies...it's like walking through Chex mix. It's not easy! Also, the winds swirl more in the winter in my experience.

That view of that bull show my favorite configuration of a bulls horns, the curl back by worn tips!

@Altitude sickness, that is a great picture. I am sure that is why I screen grabbed it. I just really enjoy looking a good buff, elephant and lion pics and save the best ones I run across. I have saved quite a few from the forums here.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
