Prayers for recovery and emotional and physical wellness. Keep things in perspective. I learned this from my 12 year old daughter (at the time). She suffered terrible side x side injuries she will carry for life and when I saw her at the hospital I couldn’t stop crying. She was stoic and said, “Hey dad. Chill out. It could be a lot worse. I am still here!” Not to minimize the devastation, but hell, we all can learn something from our kids (and kids of others). Life sucks at time, but beats the alternative. Stay strong and treat rehab like a job—a very important job! Take care of yourself! You will thrive after recovery!

Out of the ICU in my own room. It is very nice. Looking to a Wednesday discharge.
