Politics

This is hard to believe. If this is anywhere close to correct then there may be a "1964" type paradigm shift within the black population along with a structural break within the democratic party.

I bet that has the Dems freaking out. Traditionally, approx 90% have always voted Democrat. Approx 75% of Hispanics as well.

Fair point on Florida.

The difference is Trump is campaigning everywhere, just as he has been campaigning everywhere for months.

Over half of Biden's limited appearances have been in Pennsylvania where Biden takes a 30 minute car ride. He hasn't been traveling much except in his basement. The point is, the numbers show he can't stay in the basement anymore and has to go to a state he thought was a lock.

Trump is going to all battleground states multiple times.
Bidens campaign received a huge infusion of big tech donations. Bidens camp is apparently going to use that cash to blitzkrieg the battle ground states with a last minute flurry of anti Trump commercials.
I am only speculating, but getting sopeana's from the Senate probably motivated the social media cartel to open the wallet even further, since they are all in on Biden anyway?

That blitzkrieg is now happening. Switch all the channels when a Biden commercial appears and you'll find them on a half dozen other channels. This is on the Philadelphia, PA stations.

I just wished that there was a way to cut off all the political phone calls and advertising once a person has voted.

I get two or three phone calls a day asking for me to vote for someone, and here I voted 2 weeks ago.

My number is on the national do-not-call list, which I found out only applies to telemarketing. I have had my number for some years, but the previous owner of the number was apparently a Democrat, as I get at least one call, or text, per day from Democrat pollsters.

I was a registered independent until a few years ago and I got it from both sides.

I changed it to Republican and now they are the only ones that call.

The politicitions cut themselves a fat hog when they exempted themselves and charities from the do not call list

If you have an android phone, install Should I Answer. I have mine set to block anyone that's not in my contact list. Every once in a while, one will get through but will only go to voicemail. The phone will not buzz or ring. The last few weeks, it's blocked dozens of calls, most likely political BS.

But then you’ll miss the opportunity to get an extended warranty for your car!!

Just tell them you have a 1920s model T. They hang up on you. Saying you have a Lamborghini works too!

Since the electoral votes are winner takes all in WA St it is effectively a popular count vote. So we on the Eastside which has been Conservative are generally ignored. the advertising dollars go to Seattle/King County where the Yuppies, DINKs and California transplants live. I suppose a benefit of being ignored is that we get very few phonecall solicitations. The DemonRats figure if they can win S/K they get the state, although in recent years property prices in Seattle/King have escalated to the point that now they're invading east of the Cascades, so by next election we'll be getting deluged since we'll become a contested area. Bah Hum Bug !!

I was getting a number of unsolicited calls (not political) often from india going by the first few words I heard and han ging up did not stop the recalls so I have a shepards whistle and when I got those calls for a few weeks I would blow the shepards whistle (hard and loud) into the ph and for someone with headphones on it would be a very uncomfortable experience. Never had the calls again after I did that a few times.

So what percentage of the Hispanic population will vote for Trump?

My guess is that the minority vote automatically going to the DemonRats is eroding. The minorities have been taken for granted and actions taken that were harmful so several of the minorities are learning that the DemonRats are not their best friend. Most of the DemonRat sign wavers that I've seen the last few days have been almost exclusively white 30 year olds.

I was going to approach some the Bidet sign wavers and ask for their names- so that in the event that Ms Horrible became president I'd be able to get back to them in a year or so and ask them if they were getting all of the government that they asked for. But my wife said they would probably take it as being aggressive and react inappropriately- which would be on the news, portrayed as a Trump supporter harassing the Bidet users. So I didn't.

There isn't a straight forward answer here. It's very nuanced....

In 2016 Trump got 28% of the Hispanic vote. My bet for this year is up to 40% and likely at least 35%. Here is where the nuance begins. Hispanic males weigh over weight the numbers. And just like whites, Hispanics come from varied and different backgrounds.

Which brings us to Florida. A large portion of the Hispanic population is from Cuba and Venezuela. They can't stand communists and socialists for obvious reasons. So their Pro-Trump support is much higher than the "Hispanic percentage. " They will win FL for Trump.

Texas Hispanic vote is predominantly Mexican of course, with other origins mixed in. They are gonna vote closer to average but I'm going to be curious to see if it's as strong dem as is traditional, or not. Unlike the black vote Hispanics are much more likely to look at what they truly believe is best for them, as opposed to a block vote for dems no matter how poorly they are treated.

Will know more in four days!

The autoworkers told Debbie Dingell that they were voting for Trump. She bemoaned that they "weren't coming home". Well, what should she expect? The DemonRats kicked the autoworkers out of the house, then moved their room to China. So the autoworkers found a new home in the Republican house..
