I rarely follow this thread, (bein' an Aussie, we have our own clusterf**k going on) but watching the US Report on Sky last night, I worry about the future of the US, based on the politicians and commentators blowing hot air on the media. Than I read posts, and texts from good folk here, and on my emails; there is hope, yet ...

Person 1 posts “I think that the person in question is an evil, conniving, lying demon”.

Person 2 posts “ how dare you show disrespect to someone I think is a saint and should be held in the highest of regard “!

Person 2 posts “ you need to hold this person in a lofty platform because they were an elected official much more due respect than others”!

Person 1 posts “no, actually I don’t, that’s my opinion and just as you are entitled to your opinion, I am equally entitled to mine”.

I don't think anyone should be happy when someone dies or gets sick. I remember a lot of liberals being very joyful in Rush Limbaugh's death. It was classless then and it is classless now.

If you think any one politician makes your life better or worse, then your world is very small.

He and his ilk are the creatures with whom the neo-isolationists blindly following Trump apparently want to enable. Again I ask, in what world is it in US national interests to support the goals and objectives of the Russian State and creatures like this.

I had a huge surprise this afternoon, my wife and I were heading to my parents for a visit and to take in a football game, my grandson is with us. He’s in the second grade and said he has a project due he wants some help with. Of all things it’s on the Bill of Rights. I was proud he chose it as subject and pleasantly surprised they are actually teaching about the constitution in our gov schools. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope out there!
