US news agencies are reporting the shooter is a transgender man (who wanted to be called a woman)..
I suspected as much. Which is why I added "if true" to my post.

When you have a grand jury full of D’s that will never indict a D, I don’t care how great or bad the lawyer is, it’s not going to happen.
I don't know how closely you follow these grand juries, but this administration is setting historical records for not getting indictments and the materials they are submitting to court are pure crap, sometimes so bad you would get failed out of law school for submitting them.

And if it is that simple, why did they bother?

This is a competence crisis. But you are welcome to whistle past the graveyard.

I guess my only two comments today are:

I'm not worried about problems with Canada banning the Stanley Cup because, let's face it: a Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup since Bill Clinton was still trying to figure out where things were in the White House. With the exception of storage in an old Toronto bank vault, Lord Stanley's Cup has been spending a lot of time in Florida lately.

I wish Canadian citizens were at least as critical of their own government's cozy relationship with China as they are with Trump. I mean, they actually had an MP enticing people to collect a Chinese bounty against a fellow Canadian who happened to be running in a nearby riding. Carney called this a "teachable moment" but insisted the MP should remain a candidate. Even CBC noted the issue:

The RCMP has noted the Chinese police stations operating in Canada (https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/trnsprnc/brfng-mtrls/prlmntry-bndrs/20240719/43-en.aspx) yet the current government is advocating stronger law enforcement ties with China. Even that bastion of Right Wing Nut Jobs, the Toronto Sun has noted issues with this (https://torontosun.com/opinion/editorials/editorial-dangerous-deal-with-china-on-security).

And you're worried about Trump? Hell, I'm worried about a Chinese vassal State being built along the longest unguarded border in the world.

I don't think you need to worry. Canada's trade with China is a fraction of that of the US!

Now Corey I love and respect the Corps, but it is comparatively easy to audit a budget when one compares something the relative size of Greenwich, Connecticut to let's say Dallas.
It's not the size, nor the mission, nor the purpose, nor anything else: Its about accountability; where is the ACCOUNTABILITY--no matter what "institution" is spoken of or is the subject.

I don't follow these Grand Juries, but I have empaneled State Court Grand Juries, so I am somewhat familiar with how they work. More familiar Petit Juries . And yes, you can indict a Ham Sandwich. Considering Judge Pirro was a former DA, I suspect she knows how to get an indictment, but as pointed out when 93% are Hard D's, they are going to No-Bill these D defendants. And I suspect it's just that simple. And its her job to try.

If Canada becomes a vessel state your president played his part in making it so by interfering in an election. I’ve spoke out about Chinese connections to the liberal party for the past several years even before trump helped to get a Chinese debtor elected.

Not a real huge fan of Trump either. But your post triggered a memory of my mother telling me that I’d cut off my nose to spite my face.

I don’t know why trump messed with the a pro China election, but IMO it was a big mistake if so , the Canadian government according to my friends and ex sources in the DHS ( department of homeland security) have been turning a blind eye and ear to Chinese imported precursors for synthetic drugs, like fentanyl and GHB , MDMA in British Columbia, they say it’s worse than what they saw in Mexico .
China isn’t the only country using Canada as a hub, India has been using Canada as a hub for precursors and counterfeit pharmaceuticals! I would think the two governments
( Canada & USA ) would be more interested in cooperating with each other ?

I am taking the under.

Weirdly, in this case, the perp is being reported as a woman. Very unusual if true.
Transgender 18 year-old. Sounds like his/her/their home life was a mess. Cops previously took guns out of the house but had to return them when owner petitioned. Kid's mother and 11 year-old step-brother killed at home before school shooting started. Sounds like someone at home failed to properly secure the guns, much like the Connecticut school shooting. Hopefully this kid wasn't using a black gun. The name was definitely Dutch origin so all the dog-eating Somalai immigrants can breathe a sigh of relief.

Pretty simple as far as I can tell trumps only interested in trade at the end of the day and it’s far easier to just blame the dirty liberals to the north than to have to deal in good faith with a conservative leader running on a similar platform.

Wow , that gender neutral language that was written in kinda made me uncomfortable to read, does everyone in Canada speak or write news articles in such high gender neutral language?
B.C. Is so liberal they vote N.D.P. Regularly

I have not done any research to see if this is true/accurate, but I would doubt DraftKings has a reason to make it up.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
