Well, I have one for you guys if any of you are interested!! I have an incredible unfired Remington 760 still in the box from 1966. It was the anniversary gun for Remington's 150th anniversary. It still has the paperwork in the box. It unbelievable to see this still unfired. 56yrs old!! Still has the brass Anniversary Pin taped on the end of the box! Amazing Piece of Remington History!! I am asking $1850.00 shipped

If it looks hazy on the receiver it is just the original gun grease from Remington still on the gun. Gun is flawless

That is awesome! An unfired rifle from 1966. You know, Remington produced state of the art pump action rifles back in the day. Many of my wife's hunting relatives in PA have these pumps as they can't hunt with semi autos. For someone collecting these, I would think this would be a great addition to their collection?

I agree, I grew up hunting with these in upstate NY and PA. I would like to keep it but I am too tempted to put a peep sight on it and hunt it!

Very cool to have one unfired, there was a guy just looking for one in a Whelen on here the other day. Good luck with the sale!!

Very cool, I’d put the peep on it and kill something!

I have a 1970 version. Growing up hunting in PA this was and is the rifle to have. My father bought mine for a birthday present it was and still is a 1 MOA rifle.

A little like a water hole in the Limpopo, you just never know what will show up here on AH. Cool rifle. GLWTS.

Very cool! That was my first rifle my dad bought me… except in 270.

Wow, the buyer bought an amazing find. That is a great find for a Remington collector.

I have a 1972 Remington 760 in 308W and it is a very accurate, quick handling rifle.

No time wasted buying this one.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
