Taking a break from moving the safe. Sometimes we have to look at life bumps with a positive eye. I had to empty the safe to make it easier to move and prevent any damage to the wood stock rifles. First time I've had all my wood stock rifles in one place where I can admire them all.

@mdwest recognize the second from the left rifle?

@Journey - I'd love those Federal 210 primers if available. I've got a bunch of reloading to do and they would be used immediately. working up loads for my 8.6 BLK bolt gun.

I've got a ton of stuff to offer back up as well. Will post a list tonight...

How are you going to ship primers at any price, much less a free price? You have to get bonded, insured, inspecected, build a hazmat warehouse, and then pay about $50 surcharge per shipment via UPS or Fedex for the right to send them?

It's tens of thousands of dollars a year for the privilege to send hazmat shipments.

Conveniently I have all of those things - I own a chemical manufacturing company. I should be able to make the BOL on his behalf and he can drop it off to FedEx under our account. Our FAK waives hazmat fees on shipments too.

Now if this is just a single box of Fed 210 primers, the juice probably isn't worth the squeeze, but figured I'd offer to take them. Regardless of whether they end up shipping, I've got a bunch of stuff I don't need any longer and will post them up for others!

@PARA45 - You have my deepest sympathy. My room is in the basement and due to actions by one of our neighbors, surface water has been diverted to our house. The hydraulic pressure pushes it through the seems in the concrete so several times over the last 30+ years we've had water pushing into the basement. We've taken several steps to stop the problem. We still have the leakage when we have a prolonged rain or a fast melt. The usual reaction is we monitor and when the water starts we get out the trusty shop vac and stay up all night vacuuming every 15 minutes at the peak times. Hopefully the cure scheduled soon will finally cure the problem, but the shopvac will be ready for the next hard rain.

Damn I did not know shipping primers was an issue.... people ship fully loaded ammo with primers so didn't think it would have been an issue.

Primers off of the free list till I can verify I am not breaking any major laws.

Dear members, I received a pack from @Andrew NOLA, and I respectfully request your patience. I had a bit of a mess (flood from the toilette) and most of the water went into my gun room, and the closet on the room next to it. For the last 4 days, my wife and I have been trying to dry things out, moving stuff around trying to remove the soaking carpet to prevent any damage to the drywall and prevent mold from growing. It's been quite a mess, and I'm still not done and need to move the safe now.

I'll post something once my room is back and I can find things. My apologies.

Water didn’t come from the outside, somehow the toilet overflowed and the water made it into my gun room. Bathroom has tile, and gun room had carpet. Luckily the only damage beside the carpet, were some cardboard boxes with lead bullets in them and some cheap bookcases.

That's been done along with a few other projects. Part of the problem is that about five feet depth the soil turns to solid clay. Various drainage systems and concrete barriers have been installed but water keeps finding a way into the basement. I'd consider revenge against the neighbor who started the whole thing with his unapproved code violation concrete patio, but he died a few years ago.
