on a lighter note...

A is for After Burner.
Used mainly for highway speed to out run law enforcement "speed traps" , to speed past convoys of semi trucks, and around those nuisance slow drivers only doing 10 miles per hour over the posted speed limit in the "fast"/left lane. However, the A gear is not recommended for rural and in city use.

Seriously, although it looks like an "A" due to poor quality control stamping, it is really meant to be an "R" for reverse, for use to back the vehicle up.
No wrong R is for racing just like A but further down the alphabet :ROFLMAO: ;) Reverse who needs that just like brakes who needs em pifff

Middle of January and it's Mid 50s, sunny and clear. Whatever happened to winter?
Parked the truck about 40 minutes ago, the temp showing was 4*F. A skiff of snow so far, with another inch or two expected tonight, and a high of 2*F for tomorrow; Winter has arrived.

Over the past 800,000 years, there have been 8 glacial epochs on Earth, which were separated by periods of warming (interglacials) with an interval of 10 to 30 thousand years. The average interval between them is 100,000 years. We live in an interglacial period. And interestingly, the transition to the ice Age occurs very quickly, in a few years, and it is not known why.

If you want to make the degree symbol - º - hold down the ALT key, then on the NUMERAL PAD (not the numerals above the qwerty row) press 167

<ALT> + 167

Thank you! Knew there was a way, but hadn't found it. Unfortunately, I'm usually using a laptop with no number pad, so the asterisk is as close as I can get, lol

Went and got my keyboard. Hot damn! The degree º symbol!

Now I just have to remember this...

If you're still alive.
I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Otherwise......

If any member knows of @Nyati 's funeral arrangements, please post so we may send our condolences.

This is proof that men need to take at least five minutes to think and analyze their thoughts and choices about their responses, and perhaps choose a better alternative response.

November and December are conforming to political correct climate change. Winter is the new Spring. Spring is no longer a season. Spring has been assimilated into summer.

The former February 2nd "Groundhog's Day" is being moved to May 15th to allow at least 7 days warning before the "heat index" associated with summer.

Give some more eggnog to the snowplough drivers :A Stirring: :ROFLMAO:

Snowplows?.....Snowplows?
You are obviously not from the "back country" here in Tennessee.

Snowplows don't clean our roads of snow and ice until 3 days after the snow and ice is thawed and melted away off our roads by warm temps and/or "warm" rains.

D: Drag Racing Gear

And after that cheering report back to more jokes…..drum roll please :ROFLMAO:

Well, that’s fairly intuitive, isn’t it. NOT

Nope not from Tennessee from NZ live in England. We have potholes more than enough to make the moons craters look like “Pifff them no holes hold my beer”! Ohoo and when they do grace us with filling them in they wait till it’s raining and going to freeze that way it blows em straight out again….I think our council got your councils memo our they all went to the same Christmas party and pass around our complaint letters like Christmas cracker jokes. :ROFLMAO:

No, it isn't, is it.

Years ago when I was a software developer, I worked on a few web apps that needed to render in foreign languages (Spanish and French), and the only way to render those characters from a qwerty keyboard was to use the character codes from the lower half of the ASCII table.

<ALT> + 130 = é
<ALT> + 140 = î
<ALT> + 160 = á

and so on.

Way too much geek for me I am afraid. At my age I am lucky if I remember the alphabet.

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
