I've never watched this movie, but I'm sure we each have our own firearms equivalent of this dream scenario (or perhaps other collectibles):

And here I am, returning to Africa of many faces;.... the sloe-eyed temptress with flowers in her hair who stole my youth and my heart, and left me an old man with a kaleidoscope of conflicting memories of many dashed hopes and some fulfilled dreams. E. Echols

Gum? Well, I'm not a nuclear engineer, but I would think trying to contain a pair of large twin cooling towers with a rubberband wouldn't meet IAEA specifications?

Funny, I was a nuclear engineer. Decided not to do it after getting out of the military. Have a bunch of friends in the industry.

Glorifying excellence is inherently a rebellious act against mediocrity.

A theory which looks good on paper but doesn't work out in real life is a terrible theory. Reality is always the final arbiter.
