Woody, welcome to the forum! I think you need to take that 9.3 you are looking for to Africa to find a proper animal to use it on!

Welcome aboard Woody. The 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser is my favorite rifle. Of course if larger game is on the Menu I give my Swedes. a rest. A 9.3 x 62 is an excellent caliber to pair with what you already have.

As a side note:
Yours truly bagged a mule deer doe, about 5 or 6 weeks ago, with my 6.5x55 (Up in the Gravelly Range of S/W Montana).
Mine is a CZ 550 FS.
It is topped with a vintage 3x Leupold that, I had bought from fellow forum member “Mekaniks”.
