Hey guys just wanted to share my new CCW. Heckler &Koch PV9SK 9mm. Sweet piece for sure. Haven’t been at the range with it yet but hoping to get there on the next few days.

I carried a USP 45 Compact for several years, one thing for sure is HK makes a quality firearm.

I own a full size SFP9 (VP9’s European name). It’s been very reliable with all ammo I tried but I struggle to shoot it well past 15m for some reason. I carried it daily for a few months but have settled on carrying hammer fired gun instead (P229 Legion).

Don’t know why I can’t upload photos when I use the app.... Sorry guys. Now it popped up in the original thread???

Congrats JB, that is one beautiful and functional handgun. (y)(y)

A little trivia.

The Winter of 2010, I worked for Blackhawk Mfg. In Bozeman,MT.
After Osama Bin Laden was taken out by the Seal Team, our plant manager came out and anounced that the Seal Team were using HK pistol holsters manufactured in our department.

I don't remember what model, but they are fine pistols.

I just did some research on this pistol, everything I read gave it high marks as a CCW. I shoot handguns twice a week and own a bunch of Carry guns. I may have to add this one to the list. To date my favorite is a Para Companion with the Carry option. Its' only drawback is its' weight, but that is what makes it so comfortable to shoot.

@johnnyblues , congratulations! As others have commented, H&K is indeed a topnotch outfit. I have had a USP 9mm for years and love it. It's funny, you read a lot of positive comments on H&K and usually the only thing that get's criticized is the mag release (which I love). Sometimes different is better.

I carried a HK P7M8 during a couple of years.

This was around 1980, it was called PSP (Polizei-Selbstlade-Pistole) back then.

An awesome gun, well ahead of its time! It commands a premium now!

Took her out to the range today shooting Fiocci 124 grain FMJ (target ammo). I have zero experience with a handgun. Tomorrow I’m taking a 5 hour training course to help me understand different aspects and hands on range time. This was one of my targets. 15 feet.. I will improve with lots more practice/range time which I fully intend to do.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
