While predicting his political demise may well seem like saying it will rain this fall,, it appears that some of the folks in Zim have had just about enough of the old.. well you know. Several stories have recently popped up about how his speech was not broadcast publicly and how when he did read a speech it was one he read 3 weeks ago. Another was a story about the firing of a vice president or other. Recently got booed during a speech for having ruined the economy. In short it sounds like things are beginning to unravel for the 91 year old dictator. Let us hope it happens before the country goes so far down the tubes it cannot recover.

I await the epitaph.

Bob, will never give up power.......more chance of him doing what he did in the 80's, send the army in to kill another 250 000 of his rivals..

Let's hope the next clown is less thereof than Mugabe!

While in Namibia recently our German PH told us about Mugabi going to Dubai to have his blood completely replaced with blood from a young person with hopes of stalling things for awhile..Said it works for a couple weeks then he's right back to an old bastard..

Years back it is rumored that Bob lied about his age, was too young to be in power, say he is 12 years younger than he says.

We can only hope...!

A very wise man recently told me that life is like toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the quicker it goes.

That is a true statement if there has ever been one!

I said it before, and I'll say it again..........the old bastard won't die! Heaven doesn't want him, and hell's afraid he'll take over!

:sleep:There are a few hundred people with an awful lot to loose (possibly including their life) if there is a change in power from ZANU PF when Mugabe dies.

Is this the odds on favorite?

th

Are the generals and a handful of others already running the country?

Will they let Grace be the figurehead or are they afraid she will devour the competition if appointed?

Will Bob live forever and change his name Methuselah?

Is there a new Mzilikazi on the horizon?:)

There will certainly be no new Starr Jameson or Ian Smith.

Opposing political parties come and go. But the Reaper is patient and always wins. He takes good people and bad without discrimination. No one is in power forever.

The US made sure that the country with a black majority, had a black president (dictator). When he got "elected" he ordered large black Mercedes Benz sedans for all his relatives. The country was soon littered with them, because the cousins, aunts and uncles were too stupid to fill them up with gas. They just figured they broke down and walked away. ..... Kind of sounds like some of our politicians, eh?

I think Mugabe is like Fidel Castro. Probably died years ago but canned film footage and body doubles will keep him living forever

Lets not go blaming the US for Mugabe again, that's a load of baloney! We have already been thru this before, and I have corresponded with folks who live there and they agree its nonsense.

Wonder what the aftermath will look like when it cones ? Blood and more blood I suspect.

I was talking to one of the PHs while hunting in Zim last year and I asked him what he would do when Mugabe died. His answer, "leave the country."

I suppose it could be a little hectic until things get sorted out, but hard to imagine it will be worse in the long run. But I suppose its possible. If the stupid voters in the US elect Hillary:eek: I will be of much the same thinking!!:(

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
