Folks thought I would share a few pics of some of the trophies my clients took with me in Botswana when I hunted there ( 1996-2006 ), memories that I shall never forget.

94 pound elephant
Top 10 lion
32" plus sitatunga ( # 2 at the time )
Top 15 leopard
Some wonderful memories with the late General Norman Schwarzkopf
A great pic with Juan Carlos
A very exciting hunt with Clayton Williams.

Great memories there, Martin!!

Martin, that pic of our King with you caused him a lot of trouble.

But I say, good for him

Never tire of pictures ...Thanks
Glen

That Sitatunga :A Thumbs Up:

Thanks for sharing some of the bygone era of Botswana hunting with us.

Martin, that pic of our King with you caused him a lot of trouble.

But I say, good for him

the reason for the trouble(in Spain) was not that he was killing an elephant,he wished that his people save their money in the days of the economic crisis and he was no good example :S I Rule:.
And a further step-the Spanish press told the country, that Her Majesty was in Africa with his girlfriend....................

Great pics Martin, I can imagine in your chest is melancholy and gratitude when you think on those days.

Right Foxi, but also the killing of the elephant. Unfortunately, we have our share of anti-hunters.

Very cool....

Love all the pictures, but really enjoyed seeing the one with the General. Thanks for sharing!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
