Looking for recommendations for first time hunt

I'll mainly be looking for plains game package just to see how i like it. It would be for me the girlfriend and 7 yr old son I would be the only hunter they just want to tag along for the sights. I had a free hunt with a rifle purchase for kuche but failed to tell me they had age restrictions until after purchase. All of this is new to me so thanks in advance for any insight

South Africa, North Limpopo. Large property with diverse and spectacular landscape, presence of big game for additional experience. Good variety of species available, comfortable camp, close proximity of National parks for side trips. Sounds like a good option?, please feel free to email us.

[Kalahari Safari NAMIBIA]

Not planning on going until 2027 so just trying to get any feedback on places that would be good for first time to look into and try to plan out where to go. Looking for a family friendly fun atmosphere kind of place to have a good experience as a first trip.

Namibia is an excellent choice for a first-time Africa hunt—especially with family. It’s safe, offers great quality game, and the overall experience is fantastic. Kalahari Safari is family-run and really caters to families with kids. Janneman is one of the best PHs around when it comes to working with children. Highly recommend!

I have only done one trip and it was South Africa.
I know a few people who have done multiple trips.
I asked for a management hunt with a tour on the side. I wanted the experience without the expense do there are no trophies just memories and photos.
I got in a good amount of hunting with a full service accommodation and daily washing and a hire rifle.
I think we were off season in January but that suited me well.
The same outfitters keep coming up.
Request a few quotes or packages and see if you can tailor one of those your requirements. Eg day trips, species or special requests.
Free or Auction hunts might have a higher trophy fee etc.
I found many outfitters are happy to prepare an offer around what you ask for.
