I know Johnny, y’all are still in my prayers brother.
One of the Superintendents that works for me went into the Dr last year thinking he had pneumonia and was diagnosed with lymphoma and leukemia! Young man in his late 30’s with a wife and two young girls. He is fighting a valiant fight and winning. We are doing a benefit for him to try and help with the huge expense that this damn stuff consumes. If Cancer was a man, I’d hunt it down and kill him for all it has destroyed!

While I only met him once, there are three things that I know for certain, that tell me more about the man than I could likely learn about most folks in years of knowing.

First off, he has good taste in guns!

Secondly, he has good taste in friends. Any man that you call friend, I am glad to call friend as well.

Third, and most importantly, he knows Christ as his Saviour. And this means I get to work alongside him in eternity, worshipping God and singing His praises.

Clayton's life was cut short, as we men count things. But this life is but a vapor....and Clayton is more alive today, than ever before. We can be happy for that!

Thanks for this wonderful tribute to a brother and friend.
