Hi guy's I reached out to @gizmo yesterday. Many years ago I shot a Hybrid Ibex on a large ranch in Texas. I really don't recall who did the taxidermy work but the cape has completely fallen apart. It actually fell off the wall because the cape has just disintegrated. Luckily the horn's were not damaged . It actually was number 3 in the SCI book at the time and I was luck enough to have my picture in the record book with my ibex. If anyone can help me out with a cape please PM me. Thanks

My guy has one. Has to check with the client to make sure he don't want it and how much. I know I'm going to get banged on the head.

Killing me..... Don't see anyway to flip the pictures... Sorry guys

Found a cape! I called a local taxidermist who I honestly don't know who just winds up being a master taxidermist who has won several national titles. He made a call to someone he knows in Texas and was able to obtain an ibex cape for me at a very reasonable price. My taxidermist wanted several hundred dollars more but then told me the client who owned the cape was selling it to someone else. I have to also say I was very pleasantly surprised when I visited his studio to drop off the ibex and deposit on the quality of his work. I'm seriously considering using him for my upcoming safari.

Great to hear !! Looks like maybe you found your new guy (y)

Well I certainly don't think I would hesitate to use him for PG and my buffalo hunt. As well as his North American game. But if I am lucky enough to draw a tag in 2019 for leopard I would only use my guy in Pennsylvania or Dennis.

Who you use in PA johnnyblue? I go to a guy in abbottestown who has won awards and does excellent work! He done everything of mine and stuff thats 15yrs old looks as if it was finished yesterday still! He'll be doin my whole safari when i get nack. He's gonna come over and look at the space and design the whole room!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!
