Well I promised a write up of my first African Safari experience. I will definitely write it up when I get home. I have completed my 4th day of a 10 day Safari. So far I have put 2 zebras, a kudu, a blesbok, a blue wildebeest, and an impala in the salt. I am told that my blue wildebeest, in particular, is stunning. Here is a picture of my kudu to wet the whistle. This is not my PHs professional picture- just a cheapie off my cell phone. off

Of course you do know that if you shoot smaller animals that you can fit more of them on the wall, right?

So today was my last day in the Bushveldt and I added a Golden Wildebeest to the tally. So, after the dust settled, I will leave on Friday with 2 zebras, a kudu, a blesbok, a blue wildebeest, an impala, a red hartebeest, a warthog, and the golden wildebeest in the salt. The only other possible addition is I have 2 nights left to get my honey Badger. He has proven to be very elusive so far. Although I am most excited over my kudu, the best “trophy” that the hunt produced is my red hartebeest which makes both SCI Gold and Rowland & Ward. Full write up and pics when I get home.
