Namibia was an awesome experience. It was my first time in Africa and obviously my first time hunting there. I had an epic trip and was able to take some great animals. I got an Eland, Kudu, Hartmann's Zebra, Gemsbok and a Red Hartebeest. Also a baboon, he didn't enjoy my .300 WSM or Barnes TXS. I am going to Mozambique in a couple months for Cape Buffalo and some other animals.

Looking so forward to it.

There are lots of knowledgeable folks here that are willing to answer or offer an opinion on just about any question or topic. What caliber rifle are you taking for your Buff hunt, or are you going to rent one from your outfitter? What other animals are on your list? Which outfitter are you going with?

Thanks Shootist43, much appreciated. I know, I have read quite a bit before I joined. Not sure why I waited! I just bought a CZ 550 in .416 Rigby. I just thought it made sense to be able to practice and I can always re-sell. I just got a Leupold VXR 2-7x333 to put on it. Kambako Safaris. Not sure exactly but a hyena, bushbuck for sure. Any advice?

Thanks, I've been told great things by a buddy who went to this camp. He said it was awesome. He got a great buffalo and other planes game. Also got to see some elephants while driving in reverse for a couple hundred yards, ha ha.

Nature Boy, for sure you have enough gun. What kind of groups are you getting? Have you been practicing shooting off "sticks"? What ammo are you planning to use? Did or does your CZ have any feeding issues? Lots of AH members have had correctable problems but problems none the less.

I haven't shot it yet, will in a couple days. I have Barnes ammo.
