Hello from Sweden

Welcome Rikard, glad to have you on AH. You are certainly well prepared for Africa with your 375 H&H. Is your rifle scoped or do you hunt hogs with open/iron sights? Do you reload? How about sharing some pictures of your driven boar hunts along with a "story" or hunting report as we call it?

My favorite rifle and caliber by far is the 6.5x55 caliber 1896 Swedish Mauser. Taken as a whole they are the most accurate rifles I've come across.
Hi Thanks i use My 9,3x62 Browning bar With an Aimpoint H2 on driven hunts i offen Hunt as à dog keeper shortrange fast shots bit i Will try the 375 also with the iron sights this upcoming season

Too bad you cannot take your 9.3 x 62 to Africa, that would be a perfect companion rifle for your 375 H & H. I say too bad because the RSA prohibits the importation of semi-automatic rifles for any purpose . I don't know if the country you are planning to hunt in prohibits them as well.

The caliber is not the issue. The fact that it is semi automatic is the problem.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!
