Welcome to AH.

Welcome to another Canuk, enjoy the journey.

Hello all,
I have been reading threads and looking at trip deals for a while now, and figured it was time to finally join. A trip to Africa is still a few years away, but the planning is half the fun right?

Welcome to AH. A lot of great info here, but be forewarned... You WILL catch the Africa bug here!

Welcome to AH.

I was in Sydney last week and sailed around Cape Breton. Beautiful area you live in. Would like to spend more time there in the future.

I have hunted everything Nova Scotia has to offer, white tails, black bears, moose, as well as waterfowl and upland birds. Lately I have been doing a lot of bird hunting over my two Drahthaars. I am thinking that a plains game hunt, with 4-5 animals is what I will be looking at. Still haven’t decided on which I would want most. I would also like to get on a Roe Deer hunt in the future. Love those little racks for some reason.

Capebreton Redneck, welcome to the forum! My wife and I visited Nova Scotia a few years back and had a wonderful time especially the huge taste scallops! They were the biggest and best we’ve had anywhere!
Enjoy planning your Africa hunt. It is half the fun!

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
