Got my first in 2024, they are great hats. I think mine is called a sporting clays in a dark grey color. Yours looks great, I like the style and color

Congratulations and beware, they tend to multiply.
Funny you say that- I'm already wondering what my next one will be!

You guys need to let me know when you are coming through Billings and we can have a beer! I’m in Laurel

I got my first one in 1991, and have worn it both horseback and afoot for untold thousands of miles. Here's a quick picture of when I was out wolf hunting a couple of years ago.

I picked up a second one in 1999 that I have tried to keep a little nicer for social functions. :)

Every time I go through Billings I bring one of them in for a little steam touch up to the brim. It's fun to go there and they are always happy to see their old hats come in well worn and still going strong.

They are special, but as @Tanks correctly notes they do multiply.

The house boss and I will be about 40 miles north of Billings in June… planning on putting a hurting on a prairie dog town while we’re there…

But get a Rand if you do not already own one.

Ya better call me, it would be good to see you

I just ordered my first Rands. 100% beaver natural color. 6 months wait.
I’ve got racks full of nice 4X through 10X as far back as the 1980s
One 1950 one hundred percent beaver.

But this is my first custom made 100% beaver

Beautiful hat, Congratulations!!

Popped in to their shop on Monday morning and had them steam and reshape the back brim.

Pretty funny when the young lady who helped me pointed out that she was only 2yrs old when I bought that hat in '99.

I spent about an hour there just checking out different styles and watching the staff along the back wall build new hats. Great shop and its well worth a look if you are in Billings MT.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
