You are never too old to try something new, this grandmother took her first trophy in Africa and took her first trip out of the US to Africa, got to love her for that, miss you Hubart, oja I almost forgot, she dropped this great Hartebeest on the spot.
"Look Mike!!! Don't even try to kid your wife into thinking it's a once in a lifetime trip- It's not gonna be. If you've got the money, you're gonna pay your next deposit before you even leave. And If you don't, you're gonna spend your whole time in the blind trying to figure out a way to make it !!!!"
Yup, and I'm still trying to figure out how to break it to her!
Limpopo 8/14 "THE BULLY"
Back in 93 on my first hunt in Colorado with good friend Tim on left, first morning an hour into the hunt I spotted these two mule deer while the guide was looking the opposite direction
Not my largest mule deer but you always remember the first!
thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
hey bob , new on here. i specifically joined to enquire about a 444 you built on a Enfield 4-1 you built . who did the barrel and what was the twist and profile specs ? look foward to your reply . cheers
