That’s a great scope; had one for many years. For a 300WM 180 gr TTSX @ 2950 and zeroed at 200, the aiming points line up perfectly for 300, 400 & 500 yards.

Funny you mention that. I have one on a .300 Win. Mag also and used it on an oryx last year at 287 yards. Was right on. I’m not a dialer so it beats holding over.

I had it on the 30-06 I took to South Africa but because I was hunting in the bushveld, no shot was longer than 135 yards. But the Firedot feature was a welcome feature, especially since my eye sight isn’t quite like it used to be.
