Hi there. Thank you for accepting me to your forum.
I´m a Danish hunter who have been hunting for more than 45 years.
I´ve been hunting in 35 different countries.
The last 10 years i´ve been doing a lot of mountainhunting.
My next trip is to Greenland for Muskox and Reindeer in August. In september it´s British Columbia for California Bighorn.
After those trips our own season for ducks pheasants starts so i´m looking forward to a "busy" season.
Best wishes out there.

Welcome aboard!

Any trip to Africa in the past or planned for the future?

Welcome to AH JTN! What's your plan with Africa?

Welcome to AH!

Welcome to AH.

That list of countries looks like a few hunting reports could be written! :)

I wish you good luck on your Bighorn hunt when you come over.

Are you hunting Muskox on your own?

I´ve been to SA 7 times, Zimbabwe 2 times, Cameroon 3 times, Mozambique 1 time and Tanzania 1 time. So i have a little bit of knowledge from Africa and i really have enjoyed it everytime.

Welcome to AH! Your musk oxen trip gets me excited! The are awesome animals!
Also your Africa trip you say you're after some small cats? Like caracal, genet, serval? They are on my bucket list. I'm a long time varmint caller (since about 1955), so all the small stuff still gets me excited.
Sounds like you've had lots of African experience. Love to hear anything you'd like to share!
Best

Welcome to AH !

Welcome looking forward to hearing about hunting in your country.

Welcome to AH JTN, Like others said, you probably already have some pictures and stories to share. What type and caliber rifles do you own? Do you reload?

Hope you will share some of these adventures and pictures with us. (y)

Zambia or Namibia would make sense as your next hunting destinations.... ;)

Yes, maybe some day i´ll write a story from one of my trips.

I´m using a Mauser M03 cal. 300 win mag. I´ve different barrels, but normally i use the 300 for everything, except dangerous game offcause. I d0n´t reload. Normally i use Norma, but at the moment i find Geco, being a very good bullet.

Welcome looking forward to hearing about hunting in your country.
In Denmark it´s possible to hunt roedeer, fallowdeer, stags, then we have a lot of phesants, ducks, partridges, those species are the most famous game in Denmark.

There are hopefully a guide, who knows the area. I´m bringing my wife, she is also a hunter, so we have had a lot of experiences together.

Welcome, looking for any insights you may have.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
