Good read. I have been following Brian Litz's velocity tests for many years. Basically, your standard chrony's are the least accurate; with most of the cheap chronys being highly inaccurate. Litz found the Magneto Speed to be very accurate, and a properly set up Labradar even more so. My Oehler hasn't come off the shelf in years, and I always take my Labradar to the range nowadays.

Dittos on the thanks for sharing your data. I have an old "Pact" Chrony and it always is a pain to set up. I've been thinking about a Lab Radar unit because it can be set up behind the firing line and can be used in any lighting conditions.

Went to lab radar much more consistent and easier to set up and download shot strings into computer for record keeping

Any thoughts on the Caldwell Ballistic Precision chrony? I bought one on sale just because I'm going to start reloading. Don't expect it to be super accurate, but was hoping it would be good enough to get a good ballpark velocity for hand loads.
