Hey I was wanting to get a pair of custom Cape buffalo boots made in a grey safari color, was hoping to find a corse, high grain gnarly piece of leather like shrunken bull shoulder with lots of texture . I’m wondering where I could source enough leather to make one pair of cowboy boots?

Check with Jerry VanAmburg. I have bought Cape Buffalo from him before.

Lol….Good point, Definitely have enough safari calibers to do so, all single shot of course. But at my age I think my African days are behind me.
I hear you, all Ruger No1s in the gun vault. I'm on the same boat as you. Same scenario. I tried in vain to get a pair of cowboy boots made out of my cape buffalo hide but no luck whatsoever. So I had a couple hunting rifle cases made with sheepskin fleece lining and kudu accents as heirlooms for my sons.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
