Sounds sweet!! Can’t wait to see some pics.

I took a Sako in 375 H&H (all stainless with synthetic stock) to Kodiak twice chasing brownies. It shot excellent with 300 Nosler Partitions. Unfortunately it didn’t find me a big enough brownie.
I think you’ll like it.

Looked at one today in .338 win at my local shop! Handled great!

Awesome, glad to hear you fellas seem to like them..............I know Sako's are supposed to be super smooth........and I have handled several of smaller calibers before......I must say the actions were quite smooth. I am hoping it is fast handling and with good point-ability and shoot-ability. I'm sure I'll like it, I love the 375 H&H, and a definitely plan to keep it open sights.

I have the Arctos in 9.3 and '06 - both super accurate.

Sako is a fine rifle manufacturer!

Sako/Tikka makes some very nice rifles, I own a Tikka in 6.5x55 and its the most accurate rifle ive ever owned.

Just watch the stock. I have seen a Sako 85 300WSM laminate stock crack/de-laminate around the front action screw. Is there a cross-bolt in the front action area?

375 shoul dbe sweet. Post a picture when you get a chance.

(y)Well what if I say it is a worthless piece of junk and you shouldn't even open the box or sight it in and being the good internet friend I am I could take it off your hands for about 1/2 the price??o_O
(Not really)congrats on your purchase and let us know how it shoots!!

I have one in 375 H&H. Great rifle. It kicks a bit from the bench but I never felt anything while hunting. I ‘ve already taken it three times to Zimbabwe.

I'll post some pics as soon as I get it guys..........the place I bought it from said it could take five days or so to make it to me.

I think its a great rifle! When I bought 375 H&H, CZ was to me the best option but that Kodiak could corrupt my mind if I was weighing between the two.

I have four Sakos at the moment. Just beautifully made rifles. I intend to add to such numbers soon. The overall accuracy and quality is simply great. You’ll enjoy immensely.

I have a Sako Black Bear in 9.3x62.

It is light weight, short and entirely weather resistant.

A very handy carrying and using rifle that is particularly well suited to my use on Sambar deer in thick, wet forested mountain country.

A small rifle that hits hard !!

I'm not a huge Sako fan but this little black-bear has woven it's way in to my heart.

You have a fine firearm, hunt with confidence.

Good hunting.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
