Barnes flat base round nose 250 gr 308 bullets

I don't know when they made them. I'll take a pic of the box tomorrow. I'd never seen, or heard, of this weight in .308 before either.
Well, the Hornady boxes I was remembering were the 220gr pills. These 250gr were in an old Norma box with this tag showing #N529 as the type. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

The Norma box was for 130gr bullets....
 
Great big game bullets. Frank Barnes wrote favorably about them in ‘06, I think there’s load data in his book for them.
Hawk will sell you a new production 250 grain RN in this diameter also.
