A question and I hope it comes across as sincere, because it is.

If President Trump is so against narco-traffickers (as we all should be), what is the rationale for pardoning the former president of Honduras, who is serving a legitimate and much deserved sentence in a US jail?

Sometimes inside information is traded for freedom. Deals like that are made all the time.
I'm not making claims that is the case, but there has to be something on the table for Trump to do something like that

It really is difficult to weave a cohesive thread through his approach to foreign policy. I find the same thing with his positions on NATO, Russia and Ukraine. There must be an underlying strategy, but from where I sit it is very difficult to decipher.

I fear there is no underlying strategy.

You're a much more forgiving sort good sir; I remain unconvinced there is anything remotely resembling an underlying strategy.

Oops. I see Saul beat me to it.

Interesting. I’m not sure on balance if this makes more sense- or less - sense, but puts a possible new perspective on the issue.

Yet, we hardly do anything directly about the Mexican cartels which ship a lot more drugs than Venezuela.
I think sealing the USA border has done more to shake up the corrupt establishment in Mexico than military action ever could.

When military aged men are forced to live in that state of corruption vs. being allowed to escape to the USA….. those young men grow tired of the corruption very quickly!

Unbelievable surveillance.....think the have the stasi/nkvd/fsb beaten these days.....
This is the level, when if this happened to me, I would change my country of residence.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
