Just put one of the rubber cork stoppers in one end of the Suppressor, fill it up with this cleaner, wait for a few hours, then rinse it out. Could it really be this easy?

I've considered an ultrasonic cleaner, but why bother if this works as advertised.

Definitely interested in hearing the results. I've just used barrel solvent in the past. Don't know if that's right or wrong.

You need to be careful with ultrasonic to not remove the finish that many suppressors have applied. Do your research.

The cleaning process seems straight forward.

I've been using standard bore cleaners in a sports drink shaker bottle, but that's a lot of work. My suppressors can be disassembled, but you still have a ton of work ahead of you cleaning the baffles, etc.

I'll order some of this, use it and report back.

Because like everything else on a firearm, it requires regular maintenance.

It can become so filled with carbon fouling it's effectiveness is reduced.

If not cleaned, extreme corrosion inside the suppressor can result.

Worse case scenario is the ignition of built up unburned gunpowder inside a suppressor, resulting in a suppressor fire.

Copper and lead builds up rapidly along with powder residue

yep.. centerfire cans arent too hard to maintain... especially the new modular cans.. but rimfire cans get nasty fast

Weigh your suppressor on a scale before and after the soaking, should cut a decent amount depending on use obviously
