I'm Mike and I'm very new to this site. In fact I just signed up. I'm 58 and a life long hunter. I've been looking into hunting camel in Australia. What is available by outfitters seem a bit pricy when you consider that Australia is hiring shooters to kill thousands of them because they are a problem. Happy hunting! Mike

A warm welcome to AH; and to be honest, I didn't even know that they had very many camels in Australia. :)

Welcome Mike!

You didn’t mention where your from, but as a native Texan with one trip to Australia under my belt it’s a great place but everything is expensive; but you can have a true wilderness adventure in a first world country with friendly people.

I leave for my second trip the 15th for Melbourne and then hunting the NT and I’m hoping for anything that walks out….. Camels, horses, donkeys, water buffalo, Banteng, feral cattle.

I’ll touch base when I return

Welcome to AH!

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
