  • Hi Hannes,

I don't know if is bad manners or taking liberties but I'm in a bit of a tight spot with my gun licenses. I need to have two landowners give me a letter that I have hunted or are welcome to hunt on their properties. The trouble is that my licenses have to be in by close of business on Thursday (38 hours from now!!)... I was hoping you could point me to someone that would be able to help.

    Regards
    Gary
Hi Hannes. I'm interested in the cull cow buffalo offer you have going. I will be there later this month so I was wondering what would be the trophy fee of one of them came into a blind while there? Thanks and I'm sure looking forward to meeting you soon! Lee
Hans, I will be in camp the first week of July. I want to use your gun verses bringing mine as we will be sightseeing after hunt. What do you offer for rent?
    Thank you
    Don
You will be greeted as friends and you will leave Limcroma Safaris as family. These are by far, the nicest and most accommodating folks that you will ever meet. I agree that the lodge, the staff, and the amazing food is first class all the way. We took several great trophy animals on our hunt and we did a lot of touring after our hunt. All was arranged by Limcroma, and all was delivered as promised.
I could not agree more Jordan. My husband and I had an amazing experience at Limcroma that exceeded our expectations. The food, the staff, the lodging, were all first-class! The trophy quality was spectacular and their experience with accommodating bow hunters was impressive. Our next safari will be with the kids when they are done with school. We can't wait to go back.
Without a doubt the best group of people I have ever had the pleasure of hunting with!! Everything is first class and we made great friends for a lifetime. Debbie and I took 7 great animals on our last safari with Limcroma and have already booked another trip with Hannes for June. And we are taking some of our closest friends and their wives with us!

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
