The airline, which has suspended operations since January last year, will also resume its domestic and regional flights.

Air Zimbabwe has successfully cleared local debts with creditors and came up with a plan for clearing debts with foreign creditors. On May 17, The Zimbabwe government had approved a plan for the reconstruction of Air Zimbabwe. The government had also granted an undisclosed amount for the acquisition of a second Embraer E145LR jet.

The airline had initially planned to put the second regional jet into service during the second half of 2021 to relaunch its suspended regional routes to Lusaka (Zambia), Lubumbashi, and Kinshasa by the end of June 2021.

Air Zimbabwe also has two ex-Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER jets parked in Harare alongside one operational Boeing 767-200ER.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
