I've heard South African's can stay in Mexico for 2 weeks then get into the US. Not sure if a Mexico vacation fits into any of the Outfitters plans.....
They don’t need to stay for 2 weeks. All they need to do is cross the boarder at night illegally without a passport and the US will pay for their flight out of South Texas.

I was just down around Del Rio earlier in the week, and it’s gotten worse than it was this spring.

I'll ride down to the Rio grande with my Jon boat and get u all across high and dry lol.hey might be able to get u free hotel rooms and food stamps too.but seriously my friend is heading to Columbia next month with no restrictions.so I wonder what idiot comes up the no entry list crap

I just saw a post the the NRA just cancelled their convention. I hope this is not the start of many cancellations, particularly, DSC.

Just saw the NRA announcement myself. DSC is next.....no cigar in 2022 I'm betting.

This is crazy. COVID is endemic globally at this point. We will deal with it for the rest of our lives. Are we just going to cancel everything from here on out??? I am much more concerned about the responses to COVID than the disease itself.

By bet is, not far behind. HSC will be next, if the NRA had to cancel Houston.

Yes, there will be new Covid variants popping up all the time. Some resistant to the current vaccines, and probably with "booster" vaccines. We, collectively, along with the rest of the world, need to get on with the business of living. Most will live, but some will get sick and some will die, but life is to short to constantly be looking over our shoulders at what's coming next. Constant or rolling lockdowns are destroying countries' economies and individuals' financial security. Individuals should choose what they feel is best for them and let the cards fall where they may.

I have talked to two of our esteemed members this week. We are hoping for the best but expecting the worse. I am in central Arkansas. ALL hospitals are full and not nearly enough doctors and nurses to treat the sick. I fully expect to see a mass resignation of medical personnel very soon. They just cannot keep up. Good luck to all of us.....Hope I am wrong.

I said it when it started, it has opened the floodgates to socialism. Sheep have always walked amongst us but this is on a totally new level.

I don't know why there letting unvaccinated people fill up the hospitals and turning away some people who need cancer treatment or any other medical emergency.

I just want to go to a country where they fly their flag with pride rather than thinking its a crime due to an imperial past (like we do in the UK).

You would like Texas!

You would like Texas!
When we went to Corpus Christi this past June on vacation, there was mostly a Texas statewide Jeep rendezvous on the beach. I'll bet there were 200+ Jeeps of all sorts on the beach. The large number of U.S. and Texas flags being displayed, renewed my sense of Texas and U.S. pride. I can't say the same for Colorado anymore.

I talked with the wife just the other day about this. She is a school teacher and if they try to mandate vaccines she is going to quit. Unfortunate she has been there 17yrs. Anyway, I think if that happens we are going to move to TX. We're from rural KY son I suspect we will fit in. Ha ha

It is only August. The SEC is playing football, and Delta seems to have peaked. I am hopeful.

The AZ DHS website is down today. But as of yesterday it was also looking like we had peaked on this latest surge or were very close to it. Of the three waves we've had, this looks like it will have the lowest peak.

Count me in folks. I will be there

I am so gonna be there, you know even if they cancel the DSC we could all just go to Dallas for the weekend and hang out at a bar and have our own convention. Just an idea?

Or you can come to the DSC South Texas banquet, have a good meal, drinks and bid on some fine hunts and guns (last year was a couple of Rigby’s).
