Nineth AH Get Together Dinner in Dallas during Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Convention 2022.

Happy to announce that the tradition will continue in 2022!

Just to let everyone know, you do not need to be a Dallas Safari Club (DSC) member to come to this AH Get Together Dinner nor an AH member and since it will be in the evening outside of the convention hall there is no entrance fee just the cost of dinner. Over the years many wives and friends have come along and enjoyed themselves so don't hesitate to bring them to this event. You can find the DSC Convention website at the following link: https://www.biggame.org/convention/.

In 2020 we had an incredible turn out with 190 guests reserved and a great party. Everyone is welcome and I encourage you to come even if you are not a registered member but just enjoy lurking or visiting the site from time to time. All are welcome!

PS. Please do not consider crashing the party, please reserve as there will be someone at the door to check that you have a reservation otherwise you will not be able to attend. No last minute add ons.

Thanks Phil! (y)

Looking forward to the evening!

We have our usual reservations at the Adolphus - not the cheapest option near the convention center, but our favorite Dallas hotel. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I’m planning to attend the DSC convention and then drive down to Port Mansfield for a duck hunt. I hope to meet many of you at the show!

I see folks are already making there reservations. I sit in @CAustin land at the moment with a layover at the Kansas City airport. Sorry Charlie, but you guys need a facelift on your airport, tough airport for a long layover. But that said the lack of much to do with 5 hours to kill did give me the time to make my hotel reservation for Dallas.

Jerome @AfricaHunting.com and I have not even spoke yet about the dinner. It is a bit early to do so. So no details yet, but I would imagine Friday night at Guilly's as usual.

After last year's Covid debacle I'm so looking forward to attending this year. And hopefully for the first time my wife will be able to attend our dinner. I would imagine this first post will be replaced with the usual post that gives all the details and keeps count of who has signed up. Stay tuned......
Phil To bad we are post 9-11 or you could have walked out to the terminal curb and seen the new Billion $ terminal being built. I agree with you that the existing one had seen batter days.

Planning to attend again also. Just need to decide which hotel to book at. Any suggestions which one ? Since there are so many options.

Omni is the most convenient if not sold out. I also like Westin.
It was sold out before it was available. Pretty much dedicated to outfitters, staff, and formal guests. As I say, we love the Adolphus, and it is in the same general price range of the Omni.

I love the Adolphus. I have stayed there many times on business trips. A great property with super service. Plus the St. Louis connection. It was built by Adolphus Bush of Anheuser Bush fame. The story goes that the grand piano in the lobby was ordered for the Titanic but was delivered after she left port. True or not....great story.

Phil i too have made my DSC reservations and have Friday night open for our get together. I hope we can get this set so that we will have time to invite friends both international and domestic to join us. Let me know how I can help.

Nice place for sure

Man, those dates are so close to the "holidays". I sure liked the Feb date ranges.

I booked my reservations on Monday and looked into the 'recommended' hotels, but for me, I opted to go cheaper. Comfort Inn is just fine for a room with a bed. For what I save in the room price I can Uber over and back every day, or just pay my parking at the center.
Hopefully, I can make the dinner.

@norfolk shooter and I have already booked our Airbnb. I just hope that enough outfitters can travel to the US. I know that has been a concern to the few that I've talked to.
