You missed the frontal brain. You have a wounded elephant running away.

Do you shoot for the chest?

Shoot the rear leg ?

Or the spine ?

I put the blue dot more left because of the slight angle. I’m by no means an expert. Im

Blue is a larger target than spine shot. if you shoot in heart lung area he is still running a long way. the blue will break his leg stopping him for the final follow up shot and again it offers room for error versus a spine shot

None of the above, if you are Karamojo Bell. He used the quartering rear brain shot, admirably available in your picture. It would be about in the middle of the shadow of the left ear, discounting the shadowed part of the ear itself. Slightly below the rear skull ridge. But look it up, my description is an estimate, by Not Walter Bell ! But, then again, you missed the frontal brain shot at a shorter distance...

Back After a Long Time – Hello Again!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a member since 2015 but haven’t been active since 2017. Life got busy, especially with building my second business. Still, I’ve kept my passion for hunting and followed things from afar. Now that I have more time, I’m excited to reconnect, contribute, and be part of the community again.

All the best,
ANDY
