250gr swift 375h&h

No I don’t, but I do with 250gr North Fork softs. I’ve used them on various PG animals with great success. I would NOT use the lighter bullets on DG.

If your intent is to use the 250 Aframes on PG, I think you will be happy with their performance, it’s a great bullet.

That said, developing a 300gr load to be used for anything isn’t a bad idea. The heavier bullet is still at least a 200 yard load.

Was looking at mostly an elk and moose load for now

I haven't tried them but have never been able to get 250's to shoot all that well in my rifle. I have got an accurate load with 270 gr. SAF that I am taking to Africa in a few months.

Hello pappabear. Yes sir I have some experience with the 250grn A-Frame in the 375 H&H. I used that bullet in Namibia in 2019 with excellent results on game up to Eland. I only recovered 2 out of 8 shot but those showed perfect expansion and better than 95% weight retention. Funny thing is, on the Eland the bullet exited and lost that bullet. Now days I shoot 300grn bullets in the 375 and use my 9.3X62 for lighter bullets. So, go ahead and use those 250's, They will work just fine for the game you're after.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
