I hear you on that, post a location and maybe another member could meet you at range to see rifle; or leave it at a friendly gunshop.

I am frustrated though, I turned down a CZ .416Rigby for $800 back in 2020….

Shame...bought mine quite a few years ago on the holts unsold auction items sale....gbp 500....when holts delivered it to Paul he said its brand new...don't think its had a round fired in it....I can't buy one at trade for that price....so was pretty pleased with myself...

This one is I would have thought good value...or even cheap

Agreed, if an authentic add it’s certainly priced to sell and would represent incredible value in functionality for the money.
 
Ive bought and sold on the forum a bit. Always good to have a phone conversation when buying a rifle. I also have done the FFL to FFL thing. Have the FFL to make legit contact. Have the rifle delivered to his FFL he can varify the rifle is legit then his FFL contacts yours. Thats when you can do the funds transfer of your choice. His FFL can then send the rifle to yours. Takes a little more time but it protects both parties. Just a suggestion. Good luck with the sale.
 
I suspect you'll get crickets. That price made me think scam before I even read the rest of the post and all the follow ups. Be careful amigo. The seller could aslo post more photos of clearly the same rifle from different angles with other proof of life content.

why would someone sell so cheap, the rifle alone is worth double the price and most folks when selling a gun provide more pics. Just my thoughts .
