Just wanted to do a quick introduction:
I live in Montana and spend most of my free time hunting and fishing. In the Spring, I love turkey hunting. Every now and then I'll go look for a bear. Summertime is all about fly fishing. In the fall I always have a deer, elk, and bear tag in my pocket. Most years I can draw a pronghorn rifle tag. But, the priority for the year is archery elk season.

I just finished my first African safari with a 10-day plains game hunt in Namibia. Trip report to follow.

Welcome to AH! I call Arizona home, but hopefully only for a little while longer and will be back to the south of you in Idaho. Fly fishing was a passion for me until I moved here, but that passion will be rekindled soon enough.

Formerly from the Flathead before it became a zoo. Now I haunt the Hi-Line during hunting season. What region are you located?

I did not finish my welcome and somehow it published. Welcome to AH! Someday I would love to hunt in Montana or at least visit.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
