Got my hands on my NIB Rigby PH model in 404 Jeffery and could not be more pleased and surprised!!! First the wood is a Grade 2 but looks better than some of my grade 5's. Second, the gun handles better than any other rifle I have owned except for my doubles...it is more "thick" in the stock than the Highland Stalkers I have and the weight seems perfect for the caliber! The chrome bold is interesting. It of course has John Rigby on the barrel but Mauser along the action.

I should be getting both my Recknagel mounts, my Swaro Z8i + in 1-8-24 and my leather Rigby sling early next week.

This rifle will be taken to next year's Buffalo hunt in Moz!!!

Beautiful, congratulations!!!

Awesome! Congrats! If I could have any rifle it would be a Rigby Big Game in 404 Jeffery.

Congrats to that great looking rifle. The dark wood against the polished bolt handle looks amazing. Best of luck to it!

Congrats, that rig will get’r done.

Beautiful! Congratulations on the new addition! Looking forward to a report from the field!

It's not built on a standard action and only one crossbolt. Send it back!

Congratulations on joining the 404 club. Membership dues is $1K/year. Make the cheque payable to me. Membership entitles you as many rounds of 404 ammo as you can shoplift from Cabelas without a forklift.

Very nice. Congrats. 404 or 416 is the real deal. I’m getting 100% exits on multiple buff this week in RSA with my Dakota 416 Rigby.

Beautiful rifle there! I don't know why the PH model in 404 is SO tempting to me but it is. Enjoy her. To me a "plain" but good looking rifle is like finding a girl who doesn't need any makeup. Beauty in simplicity. Hard to find but definitely worth keeping when you do. Statement applies to both guns and women. Lol
