Food inflation this gonna suck after this again, happened a bit after Ukraine war and oil/commodities.

Diesel is 9$ north of the border a gallon. And everyone's mostly plowing under winter wheat or cover crop

Potentially ignorance on the sellers part, or perhaps desperation for a quick sell. Outside of this forum there’s not a lot of people who hold sporterized vintage Mausers in such high regard. I believe I’ve bought from that seller once before with no issues, and he’s got trader history to prove himself. but still recommend due diligence in case his account got hacked (FaceTime call to confirm and use a credit card or PayPal goods and services for payment to dispute charges if it ends up being a scammer who hacked his account to make money)

I am not a member of that website, but after your post, I joined. Still waiting for a moderator to officially make me a member.

I’m interested in the entire lot. You mentioned about his account potentially being hacked.

I hope I’m wrong, but that might very well be what happened. The Mauser kit he has listed for sale in shows that it has already been sold once on that website.

Maybe the deal fell through and he never changed his original post? Like I said, I am very interested in the entire lot but have a lot of questions.

Hopefully a moderator allows me to join, and his account hasn’t been hacked before somebody else jumps on these rifles. :LOL:

I can message him on your behalf if you want since there’s a minimum message limit to use classifieds over there, otherwise you can skip the message requirement by becoming a member for $30.

The classifieds alone are a great reason to be a member over there. Trader history and feedback easily available and always something good in the classifieds

No worries, still do your due diligence in case of a hacker just in case though! There’s a PayPal fees calculator you can find online for paying for goods and services while also giving him the full amount he’s asking for while also protecting you in case of him being a scammer/hacker.
 
To me those prices seem “on par“ for average sporterized mausers. Not particularly the best jobs. Not bad but “average” brings average price. The extra little finer refining steps is where value climbs drastically
